Family Activities in Santaluz

Santaluz, a gated community about 25 miles north of San Diego, California, is a terrific place for families to live. There are many activities, programs and happenings for kids to be involved. Various events and activities for children are as follows.

One of the most popular events in Santaluz is the annual Children’s Winter Holiday Celebration. In this celebration, kids come and participate in various craft making activities that feature various themes of the season including Christmas, snow, Santa and more. Children have the opportunity of decorating cookies with sprinkles, frosting and other toppings. Families and individuals coming to the event can enjoy Christmas and other holiday music. In addition to this, Santa Claus stops by and is available for having his picture taken with kids. He is always willing to hear what kids want for Christmas. 

The Spring Fling & Dash on the Grass brings the community together with the celebration of the end of winter and the beginning of spring. There are many activities for kids to do at this event. There is a craft section where kids can cut, glue, paint and color various themes and works of art that celebrate the beginning of spring. Kids can design and eat their own cupcakes. Frosting, sprinkles and other toppings are provided. A number of inflatable activities help kids have fun, run off energy and enjoy the weather.
