There is a huge misconception out there by the public that anything you put on the market will sell. In 2016, however, there were 13,472 homes that went unsold, expired, or canceled in San Diego alone.
Everyone out there who thinks that anything thrown on the market will sell is mistaken. When you look at the volume alone, that total represents $14 billion in real estate that failed to sell in 2016 in San Diego County.
Already in 2017, 600 homes have been canceled or expired. If you find yourself in a situation where you are thinking of selling, practice caution. Even in a market like ours, nothing is guaranteed. Over the course of the last year, one out of every five homes failed to sell.
If you’re thinking about selling your home in 2017, you need to work with someone who has a proven process and a proven track record of success.
The average agent sells only four homes per year. Our team sold 187 in 2016. It’s not that we are the only option you have, we’re far from it. The reality is, however, that our sales are executed in a professional manner and we utilize a proven, systematic process that very few in our marketplace do.
If you have any questions about selling a home in this market or you’re just curious about what kind of price we could get your property sold for, don’t hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. We would love to hear from you.
