Daniel Beer Group – Proud Explorer Title Sponsor for the Del Sur Educational Foundation

The Daniel Beer Group remains committed to giving back to our community. We are grateful to serve our friends and neighbors along the Camino Del Sur and Del Norte corridor - all the neighborhoods in and surrounding the Santaluz area - through sponsoring organizations such as the Del Sur Educational Foundation, which is dedicated to the support of the Del Sur Elementary School.

Del Sur Elementary was named a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools nationwide based on their dedication to nurture students accomplishing high learning standards or making outstanding improvements in closing the achievement gap between some student groups.

The school is built on the hard work of the staff that has developed a highly personal education for more than 725 students since its opening in August 2008. We feel it is our duty to champion the efforts and become collaborative partners as an Explorer Title Sponsor for their recent Uncorked! And Dealin’ It for Del Sur fundraiser events, where everyone spent time having fun while raising the necessary funds that contribute directly to paying for teacher salaries of art, music, and impact teachers, technology purchases and upgrades, and buying basic school supplies such as toner/ink and Promethean board light bulbs.

The Del Sur Educational Foundation is now at the halfway point of their fundraising goal of $85K for the school year 2014-2015, and we could not be happier for them and thankful for the opportunity to be part of such a great cause.
